EXARC is proud to cooperate with America’s largest outdoor living history museum, Colonial Williamsburg, in an annual fellowship offer. This year’s applications were very interesting and offered a very wide range of subjects to choose from. We are happy to say, that the winner is Prof. Dr. John Seidel with his multi-faceted project to pursue artifact analysis and structured experiments trades, while also designing a long-term undergraduate program to engage students and staff in multiple experiences and experiments over time.
This project will build on a growing relationship between CW and Washington College, with previous collaboration on a 3-D model of a Revolutionary War site and the recent success of an immersive undergraduate course in which students worked in the trades while in residence in Williamsburg for over a week.
