2007 was the first year of the liveARCH project. The eight museums met in Eindhoven (NL) for an internal meeting and soon after, had their first conference & workshop in Scotland. Here, as at all liveARCH meetings, other EXARC members were able to take part.
All liveARCH members received a shield to be placed near their entrance, showing they were part of a larger network. We also met in Sweden where we discussed quality criteria and definitions of archaeological open-air museums.
EXARC also presented its third generation website, which more than before, served as a portal to more information on archaeological oepn-air museums and experimental archaeology.
