EXARC Journal Digest 2024 published

The EXARC Journal Digest 2024 brings chosen abridged articles from the EXARC Journal issues of 2023/4 to 2024/3. There are 17 reviewed and 12 mixed matters articles.

As always, this physical Digest can only provide a snapshot of the wide range of research, experience, and further insights that have been published in the online journal issues over the last year. The variety of topics covered include experimental replications, ethnographic studies, discussions on museum practices, and much more besides.

As with every year, we are impressed by the diversity and high standard of articles submitted, and are excited to see what the next year holds. As such an established and valued aspect of EXARC, one of our priorities is that the journal continue to grow and enrich the wider research network of which we are a part.

The importance of moving towards a more interdisciplinary future is highlighted in the successful completion of the RETOLD project. The focus of this project on digitalisation and documentation follows a vital and popular theme amongst heritage networks and organisations across the globe. Some articles from RETOLD are provided in this Digest as well, and EXARC looks forward to providing further support for the project as it develops further.
