The team of volunteers in EXARC is quite large: over 50 people are active one way or the other to help EXARC and its members. We believe they are a most important asset of our network.

EXARC wants to help its volunteers grow. We are very happy to have received funding from the Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie to do exactly this. 

EXARC plans a day where we will learn more about open-air museums, and ancient technology, but above all, strengthen our volunteers and the bond between them. We will have workshops about heritage and sustainability, about education and interpretation and social media. The day will be captured in a small documentary and our volunteers will get the chance to learn more about vlogging as well. Aims include the strengthening of the feeling if being responsible, to be among the early adapters of subjects, relevant to society and the role of our members in that. Our approach will be about sharing our joint heritage in an open access, inclusive way.
