We have now started several working groups and created a space for them on our community Discord server!
You may remember we posted a few weeks ago about our plan to implement working groups, and asked you to fill in a poll to let us know what kinds of working groups you would be interested in. Thank you so much to everyone who filled in this poll, the results of which revealed several popular topics, which we have used to create the following working groups:
- Discord Training: Launch Sunday 21st April
- Re-enactment: Launch Sunday 28th April
- Archaeological Science: Launch Sunday 5th May
- Digitisalisation: Launch Friday 10th May
- Roman EXARC: Launch Sunday 12th May
- Communication and Education: Launch Sunday 19th May
- Textiles: Launch Sunday 26th May
If you're interested in joining one of these working groups, please do head over to the EXARC Discord server (joining link here) and say hello! We will be holding small-scale launches for each of the groups, as well as an introductory session for how to use and interact on Discord, so make sure to join the server and watch this space for more information.
