If You are Ready, We are Ready

The current Covid crisis has great impact on our lives.

EXARC is here for its members. Anxious as we may feel, concerned about our current and future struggles and hesitating about the right strategy, museums are not alone in this crisis. HERE is an article EXARC published recently. The situation will not return to 'normal' and we will have to think again about everything we were used to in our work. How should you change your program, manage expectations? Will visits change character, become more mindful, and what about going digital?
The Network of European Museum Organisations, NEMO, is also active in this respect.

European Archaeology Days (EAD)

If you are looking for an opportunity to get back on your feet and approach your audience again, the European Archaeology Days (EAD) are coming up, June 19-21. We expect a lot of publicity for those museums who can be present that day, both in real life as well as with virtual events. For further information and ideas, if you wish to share your plans or ask for assistance, you can contact our EAD coordinator Ms Papagiannaki at l.papagiannaki@exarc.net.

EXARC Events Calendar

If you have events taking place in the rest of the year, please check if we have them correctly listed at https://exarc.net/events and contact us at events-calendar@exarc.net if we need to add or change anything. This also counts for good digital presentations.

Stay in Touch

EXARC is happy to assist its members any way we can! If you are ready, we are ready. With a growing experience in social media outreach and virtual events organisation, we are happy to offer guidance, ideas and support to all EXARC members. Do not hesitate to come back to us, whether you are ready for a kick-start (on the occasion of the EAD, for example), or looking for a long-term strategy, or simply wish to find partners within the EXARC community and beyond.

Also, we have a mailing list for EXARC-museum-members to discuss between themselves. Just email us at info@exarc.net if you like to be added.
