Longhouse at Vikingabyn Storholmen (SE) burns down to the ground

Shortly before eleven o'clock on Thursday evening, June 17 emergency services arrived at a fire at Vikingabyn Storholmen not far from Stockholm, Sweden. The 120 square metre longhouse was burning. The fire department could only prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings and by 2:30h in the morning, the longhouse burnt to the ground and the fire brigade left.

Vikingabyn Storholmen mentions in Facebook: "We are extremely sorry to have to announce that our large exhibition hall burned to the ground last night. The cause of the fire is unknown. We from Storholmen want to thank all the excellent support we receive, it warms our hearts.”
