NEMO Trainings for SDGs

We would like to share some information from the Network of European Museum Organisations:

The call for applications is now open for an online training series taking place on 5, 12, 19 and 26 June 2024 from 10:00-12:30 CEST. José Luiz Pederzoli Jr., ICCROM, and Henry McGhie, Curating Tomorrow, are back for a second edition of the successful training on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  • Applications are welcome until 7 April.

  • Participants are expected to attend all four sessions.

  • Learn more in the attached call for applications or online (see link below)

"Museums for sustainable development: Join the dots, tell the story" will continue to explore how museums can implement the UN Agenda 2030 and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this year with a certain focus on human rights, inclusion and diversity.

The 4-part training series will help develop capacity in museum workers to fully understand sustainable development and the SDGs, to formulate key SDG-oriented challenges or aspirations to be addressed through their collections-based work, and to make and successfully implement a plan to put their ideas into practice.
