Although we have had to delay the launch due to technical and administrative reasons, plans for the new EXARC website are still powering ahead! And to help us reach the next step we were wondering if you, our lovely EXARC members (or even those who haven't yet made that final step to membership but still want to contribute), would be willing to help us out in making the website as beautiful as possible?

All of our members are engaged with such interesting work in a wide range of fields, and we want to be able to showcase that on our website in the simplest way we can. After all, a picture tells more than a thousand words, and so we want to feature pictures showing the variety and diversity of our network. However, in order to do that, we need graphics depicting as many different projects, activities, locations, and people as possible. We would therefore like to ask if you (yes you!) could contribute to a folder of "stock images" that we can then use on our website, digital platforms such as social media, and physical publications such as banners, flyers, and leaflets. Such a folder would enable us to create a visually appealing and representative platform that we and all of our members can be proud of. If you would like to contribute, please send us good quality images related to any of the following:

  • Experimental archaeology
  • Ancient and traditional technology
  • Heritage interpretation
  • Open-air museums

Please note that any people depicted in the image must also have given their permission to be featured or else be unidentifiable in the image!

Please send through any images you are happy to share with us at your earliest convenience to info@exarc.net . We look forward to being able to show a new digital presence that is current, representative, and visually appealing!
