In EXARCs hometown, Leiden (NL), volunteer organisations can get help from professionals, united in IDOE. Over the past year, they advised EXARC on various matters, including on how to attract new volunteers.

Unfortunately, IDOE will cease its activities here soon, but before they go, they offered EXARC and various other volunteer organisations a full training on all steps of managing volunteers you can imagine. This training included developing our vision on volunteers, General Data Protection Rules (GDPR), the influence of volunteers on the organisation and their wishes. The last session took place at safe, COVID-19 distance. EXARC was represented by two volunteers. 

We thank IDOE for their valuable role in developing how EXARC works with volunteers and wish all IDOE colleagues a good future. Until we meet again!
