Popular Archaeology Magazine supports Experimental Archaeology Conference

With about two months to go before the International Experimental Archaeology Conference #EAC13 will take place in Toruń, Poland, we published a teaser in the main archaeology magazine in Poland, Archeologia Żywa.

Professor Grzegorz Osipowicz is from Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika in Toruń, and Dr Roeland Paardekooper is representing EXARC. They discussed for the Polish audience about “Experimental archaeology and historical reconstruction: two complementary methods of education about the past?” These two methods are touching each other during our conference in May, and somewhere in the middle we find archaeological open-air museums.

The article in Polish is published online (https://archeologia.com.pl/archeologia-eksperymentalna-i-rekonstrukcja-historyczna/) and offers a great first bite of what we will discuss in May. The #EAC13 Conference will attract people from around the world to travel to Poland, and even more people who will join, free and open access, to the online sessions. All information, including registration, can be found at https://exarc.net/meetings/eac13
