#FinallyFriday: History in bite-size Chunks

Date: 24th April 2020

This first #FinallyFriday focuses on the study of food in the past, and more specifically on the technology, ingredients, and rituals surrounding bread. Our guest speakers Maeve L'Estrange and Farrell Monaco will discuss their research of bread making in Medieval Ireland and the Roman Mediterranean, and provide insights into the benefits and difficulties of using an experimental archaeology approach.

#FinallyFriday will be streamed via Discord at 5pm on April 24, and includes a live question and answer session from people who are tuned in (that could be you). All free to join so for those interested in finding out some of the specialisations of archaeology, here's a nice and easy way to start! Check out https://exarc.net/finallyfriday for details.
